Rape and violence against Native American and Alaskan Native women is an epidemic. What makes this problem worse, is the maze of jurisdictions and patchwork of laws that Native women in the US must navigate. The judicial system is designed to fail them, meaning very few women seek justice for the horrific crimes committed against them. Some still fight. And these are their stories.

After the screening, there will be a talk-back and Q&A, with Kerri Colfer, FCNL’s lead lobbyist on Native issues, and Tarah Demant, director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Identity Program at Amnesty International USA.
