Buffalo Meeting has been very generous with membership dues that support VOICE Buffalo’s social justice advocacy and leadership training work. VOICE Buffalo is a faith-based network of religious organizations and secular social justice organizations that gather collectively to pressure local and regional elected officials to address injustices in our community.
Each spring Buffalo Meeting sends a mighty Quaker gathering to the VOICE Buffalo Annual Awards Banquet. This year VOICE is holding the event at the Buffalo Convention Center, downtown on 153 Franklin Street on Friday, April 20 at 6:00 p.m., and Mike Tritto and Ginny Riordan are committing to cover the cost of one 10-person table for the banquet. We invite anyone to join us. You can contribute anything from $0 to $60 for a seat, so don’t let cost be an issue. If you can’t go but would like to support the organization, we will gratefully accept donations for the banquet and sponsorship showing Buffalo Meeting’s support for making WNY a more equitable and just place.
If you are interested in supporting VOICE, please see our representative to VOICE Buffalo, Michael Tritto. Checks should be made out to VOICE Buffalo.
