Our December Meeting for Business approved creating a new Nurture Committee. The general summary of its charge is: "Friends establish a Nurture Committee with Outreach Committee as a part of the Nurture Committee. The Nurture Committee is formed to support Friends in the outward forms of our lives such as pastoral care for anyone in our faith community, including concerns for basic needs, education, occupations, personal finances, life transitions, or sufferings for conscience sake, as well as the logistics involving meeting facilities." All are welcome to join this committee. Our first meeting to get organized will be after fellowship time on Sunday, January 14.
