MOVING BEYOND WHITE FRAGILITY

Sponsored By Orchard Park & Buffalo Friends Meetings

The most common question black people get is "tell me what should I do?" Nanette will address that question using anthropologist Pierre Bourdieu's concept of "habitus" as outlined in chapter 7 of Robin DiAngelo's book White Fragility.

Nanette, a Buffalo native, leads white audiences in discussions about race. She urges us to get out of our heads, out of our comfort zones, and out of our own way.

Nanette's had the distinction of leading a day-long workshop alongside Robin DiAngelo here in Buffalo last vear to an audience of over 350 participants.
