The Winter Gathering of Farmington-Scipio Regional Meeting will be held online via Zoom on January 16. Acknowledging that we miss each other, miss the hugs and face-to-face conversation, and recognizing that virtual is second best, we hope that nonetheless, many, many Friends will join us for this gathering, so we can stay connected until we truly meet again!
Traditionally, our morning session is devoted to planning Spring Gathering. In order to do that, this year we are going to begin by considering the tremendous impacts COVID has had on our lives and our meetings. We will see what arises and where that leads us, providing an opportunity for Friends to share thoughts about themes for Spring Gathering.
We will have breakout rooms during lunch for Friends who would like to share their meal in a community discussion.
The afternoon session will be Regional Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business.
