A period of Worship Sharing will be held following the Meeting for Worship on Sunday August 9th.

Clerk Michael Tritto shares about this new initiative:

“Fenna (Assistant Clerk) and I are seeking ways to expand participation in our Meeting amongst everyone. In particular, we wanted to create a variety of ways for the Meeting to receive messages from a wide array of individuals that could help us to collectively discern how Spirit is leading our Meeting.

“Most concerns and initiatives will come forth and be seasoned from the committees.  And yet there may be unique concerns, from outside of committees that individuals could bring to our Meeting through the deep listening of Worship Sharing. We also want everyone to feel the support for their spiritual journey from other Friends. Worship Sharing can uniquely create that supportive container. Also by practicing the articulation of internal experimentation and discoveries in Worship Sharing, we hope to foster more confidence in a wider range of us to bring vocal ministry to Meeting for Worship.

“This coming Sunday, August 9 after a short break following Meeting for Worship we will invite anyone interested to join us on Zoom for Worship Sharing. This will be a monthly offering on second Sundays.”
