Farmington-Scipio Regional Meeting Fall Gathering
Program: Living with Difference: Living our Faith as Quakers in the World and in our Communities
How do we live as Quakers in a world with increased acts of intolerance, fear and hate?
Join us in sharing our experiences with how we deal with racism and other forms of oppression, as individuals and in our meetings. In our daily lives and in the larger world, we may be feeling energized and eager to learn more about how to build capacity for addressing these concerns. Or we may be feeling an urgency for our meetings to take some kind of action. Others may be discouraged, overwhelmed or burned out. How do we live our Quaker values while experiencing the tension of differences within our own meetings? We will have opportunities to learn from one another through group sharing and experiential activities and will learn about resources available in our region.
